Speed = Distance / Time II builds on the concept of Speed = Distance / Time I, continuing to explore the significance of fast thermal imaging in today’s society, discussing the fading of memory, and provoking people's critical thinking about the existence of ordinary things in life.

Employing thermal paper as an expression medium, Speed = Distance / Time Ⅱ reproduced the life scenes about thermal paper using the black and white photos taken in various consuming places in London with thermal receipts, tickets, labels, receipt printers and cashiers’ hand movements as subjects.

Thermal paper is different from ordinary paper in touch, high-contrast black and white color expression and special smell, allowing readers to directly participate in the daily observation of thermal paper materials through touch, vision and smell. Due to the sweat and oil on human fingers, every time the fingers touch the thermal paper, the thermal image disappears at a certain speed.

This is a book that disappears while reading. Speed = Distance / Time Ⅱ recorded time, explored human memory, and the existence and disappearance of memory carriers.
